Medical Support & GLP-1

Clinically proven prescription treatments to aid weight loss in eligible patients, regulating appetite.

Emotional Eating and Stress-Related Eating

Mindfulness plays a crucial role in our approach to weight loss by addressing the psychological and behavioral factors that influence eating habits. By cultivating awareness of thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations, mindfulness helps individuals identify triggers for overeating or emotional eating, enabling healthier responses to stress and cravings.

Weight Gain and Mental Health

When combined with evidence-based treatments and lifestyle modifications, addressing emotional eating fosters holistic well-being. If you are struggling with emotional triggers tied to trauma or mood, our targeted Depression Treatment and Anxiety Treatment provide the foundational support needed for sustainable change.

ADHD, Impulsivity, and Weight Management

For many individuals, ADHD can lead to impulsivity that extends directly to eating habits. Binge eating, impulsive snacking, or chasing “dopamine hits” through sugary foods are common challenges. Our specialized psychiatric providers understand the unique neurobiology behind ADHD eating impulsivity and integrate ADHD Treatment strategies into your customized weight loss plan to build sustainable, mindful habits.

Weight Gain From Psychiatric Medications

Many life-saving psychiatric medications (psychotropics) carry the side effect of metabolic changes and weight gain. As specialized mental health providers, we excel at managing and reversing medication-associated weight gain. We safely coordinate your psychiatric care with metabolic interventions so you never have to choose between your mental health and your physical health.

Chris is a fantastic provider and a genuine person. He always puts the concerns of his clients first and he customizes the treatment plan to fit the needs of the individual. He is very approachable and trustworthy. His diversity of experiences and warm personality make him easy to connect with. His work as a former ER nurse manager prepared him to think fast on his toes and to get to the root of the problem swiftly. He is a great listener and knows what to say to make you feel comfortable. He makes mental health services accessible to all. I highly recommend his private practice in psychiatry.

After having talked to Chris several times, I need to tell you that he doesn’t just write stuff down and forget about it. He takes his time and asks questions and I get the idea that he’s trying to solve problems and that’s what I want. His tones, mannerisms, and body language tells me it’s not a lecture and he’s warm and wants to help. If you’ve ever had the feeling that you were being left out you will like Chris because he doesn’t treat you as income. I get the feeling he can go home at the end of the day feeling like he’s helping because I go home and feel like he’s helped me. When you talk to him there’s no need to hide anything. I understand it may take some time to trust him but you’ll be glad you did.
